Viewing LiveMessages That You Have Already Sent

You can view LiveMessages that you have already sent to family members via ChildPlus if your ChildPlus Administrator configured the message to be logged in Email/Text Message Settings. Provided that the LiveMessage was sent to family members and the message was configured to be logged in the Communication Log Family Services event, you can run a Family Services report (for example, 4110-Family Service History or 4130-Family Service Actions) to pull actions from the Communication Log event.

 

In this example, the Communication Log event is checked on the Report Setup screen for report 4130 - Family Service Actions:

 

 

 

 

Tip: Keep in mind that it is not possible to run a report to show the LiveMessages that have been sent to staff or In-Kind volunteers. You can only run reports to show LiveMessages sent to participants and their family members.

Checking Email/Text Messages Settings

To check whether the LiveMessage you would like to send is configured to log each time it's sent:

 

  1. Click Setup > Module Setup > LiveMessage.
  2. Select the applicable message from the list.
  3. Click Email/Text Message Settings at the top of the screen.

  4. Make sure the Log each time this message is sent in the Family Services Communication Log event box is checked. If it is, each time this message is sent to participants, ChildPlus will log an action in each child’s Communication Log event.If this box is not checked, there will be no record of the message being sent in the Communication Log event. You will need to contact ChildPlus Technical Support for more information about messages that are not logged in the Communication Log event.

 

 

 

  • Tip: Every time you send a message, ChildPlus will let you know if it will be logged before you even send it. If a message it is configured to be logged, ChildPlus will display the following message on Send a Message screen: This message will be logged in Family Services under the Communication Log event using the information below. If ChildPlus does not display this message on the Send a Message screen, there will be no record in ChildPlus of the message being sent.
